Chocolate Peanut Butter Parfaits
Who can say no to the delicious combination of chocolate and peanut butter? Not us! This smooth and creamy parfait brings together peanut butter, whipped cream and GanoCafé Schokolade to create one perfect treat. While this dessert may be on the sweeter side, you can still enjoy knowing it’s enriched with all the healthy nutrients of Ganoderma lucidum.
- 12 Oreos
- 2 tbsp butter melted
- 1 sachet GanoCafé Schokolade
- 1 tbsp hot water
- 3/4 oz creamy peanut butter
- 8 oz cream cheese , softened
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream , softened
- 2/3 cup powdered sugar
- Peanut butter cups to garnish
Make your Oreo cookie crumbles! Place the whole Oreos in a food processor and pulse until fine crumbs form, stir with melted butter, and set aside.
Next, make the whipped cream. Add heavy whipping cream to a large bowl and use a hand mixer or whisk to beat until stiff peaks form. Add in powdered sugar and beat together until combined. Set aside.
Empty GanoCafé Schokolade into a medium bowl and stir in hot water to form a thick paste.
Stir in peanut butter. Cut cream cheese into small pieces and add to the Schokolade and peanut butter mixture. Use a hand mixer to blend until smooth and creamy.
Gently fold whipped cream into the peanut butter mixture until combined.
Take half of the Oreo cookie crumbles and divide it into 4 serving glasses. Divide the peanut butter mousse into glasses and top with remaining cookie crumbles. Garnish with mini peanut butter cups, if desired.
